2013 is going to be the best year yet!
Remember 8th March is our reading event at the Poetry Cafe in Betterton Street, Covent Garden.
If you are one of the Connections authors, please set the date aside and take the opportunity to come and read your writing. Nothing feels as good as reading your own work to an appreciative audience.
There is food and drink available at the cafe itself and we will be in the room at the bottom of the stairs – the Poetry Place. We can accommodate 40-50 people so, given that 40 plus authors were included in the anthology, I really need to know who will be coming before I can offer ‘plus one’ options…
Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org (put 8th March in the subject line please) as soon as you know that you will be able to come – please also mention :
if you would like to read;
- if you would like to bring a guest, (space allowing).
On 8th March we will also launch our 2013 venture – the first Paragram Open Poetry Competition. Rules, deadlines and prize details will be published at the reading evening, so look out for fliers to make sure you know what, where, when, and how much! We anticipate that, quality of entries allowing, all short-listed poems will be published in a chapbook at the end of 2013.
And finally…copies of Connections and the Paragram first anthology ‘A Toe in the Water’ are now available exclusively from ‘The Bookshelf’ at behindthehighstreet.co.uk. Come along and browse the other books available, all small press publications, in this new, on-line book shop.
