We are now into the countdown to the deadline for entries to the first Paragram Poetry Prize. if I was a really skilled techie-type I would know how to embed a countdown into the blog – but I’m not and so I haven’t a clue where to start!
Instead I will blog the number of days left for you to enter our competition just so that there is no danger of PPP D-day passing you by unnoticed.
Remember that the most exciting part of the prizes on offer to all who are short-listed is the opportunity to be published by Christmas and performing in front of an audience early in 2014. I know cash is always welcome, but the satisfaction and sheer fun value of seeing a poem in a collection, or performing your own words to a crowded room just cannot be bettered.
So, this is a gentle ‘twenty-eight days to go’ nudge to all of you who are working on, or still thinking about working on a poem prompted by ‘…a certain slant of light…’
