The Paragram evening event is shaping up very nicely, plus we have some exciting news about the 2016 Challenge!
With less than 3 weeks to go until the official launch of the two 2015 books ‘Perspectives from an Open Heart’ and’ Spotlights’, we are busy confirming the schedule for the evening and getting the wine order in!
To remind you, our venue is the Poetry Café in Betterton Street, Covent Garden, the home of the Poetry Society, on Friday March 4th 2016, doors open at 7 and the poets will be reading from 7.30 -9.30 pm.
Entry to the launch is free and we have a very full agenda.
Our 2015 Paragram Chapbook Challenge winner Peter Taylor will be reading from ‘Perspectives from an Open Heart’ and sharing some new writing; alongside many poets published in‘Spotlights’ who will be reading from the anthology and perhaps some new work.
Both ‘Perspectives from an Open Heart’ and ‘Spotlights’,published by Paragram Press, will be for sale during the evening and of course there is the opportunity to have them signed by some of the poets.
The back catalogue of Paragram titles will also be available.
As publicised in our last blog 4th March is also the date Paragram will announce details of the 2016 challenge! In addition to that, we can now reveal that our guest judge for the 2016 challenge will be Claire Dyer.
Claire Dyer’s collection, Eleven Rooms is published by Two Rivers Press; another collection is forthcoming in 2016. In 2015 she won the Charles Causley Poetry Prize and her novels are published by Quercus. She also runs Fresh Eyes, an editorial and critiquing service. Her website is www.clairedyer.com
Claire will also be joining us on 4th March.
