closed doors

The doors are now closed for entries to the Paragram Paradox Prize but we couldn’t help ourselves…is the door in the image closed because it is locked or open because the doors don’t meet?

We are very pleased that so many of you have risen to the challenge to write about paradox…it is a very grown-up subject as someone commented in social media.

The work now starts for us as we prepare the anonymous entry manuscripts in the three categories for Claire Dyer…who, as she has stated many times on Twitter, can’t wait to get going on reading, commenting and nominating prize winners.

Claire will supply us with a short list and these will be the pieces that we would like to include in our Paradox publication.

The short list and names of the prize-winners will be published on this site in early September. All short-listed writers and winners will also be contacted by email.

Then begins the work of preparing the Paradox publication in time for Christmas…yes, that is how long it takes.

A selection of poems will also be added to the website with the authors’ permission.
